Calderon delivers keynote at 2nd SHWM Summit

Hon. Gerardo V. Calderon, DENR Assistant Secretary for Local Government Concerns and Lands, and Executive Director of the National Solid Waste Management Commission will deliver the Keynote Address during the 2nd Philippine Solid and Hazardous Waste Management Summit with the theme, Waste Management and Climate Change: Links and Challenges, this coming December 4-5, 2008 at the Casino Espanol de Cebu in Cebu City, Philippines.

ASec Calderon’s address will focus on Directions, Plans and Emerging Policies on Waste Management and Climate Change. ASec Calderon represents Hon. Jose L. Atienza, Jr, DENR Secretary.

The 2-day 2nd Philippine Solid and Hazardous Waste Management Summit is hosted by DENR-EMB Region 7 and supported by EMB Central Office, DOH 7, NSWMC, GTZ, WHO and UNEP’s Regional Resource Center for Asia and teh Pacific.
